Trade Ministers from the Horn of Africa Initiative countries convened in Addis Ababa for the HoAI Trade Ministers Meeting, marking a major milestone with the establishment of the Regional Trade Facilitation Committee (RTFC) and the signing of a Joint Ministerial Declaration.
The new regional mechanism will strengthen coordination, facilitate the sharing of expertise and support countries in advancing trade facilitation reforms across the region.
